Urban footwear, reimagined
Urban footwear has been designed for decades to look comfortable, not to actually be comfortable.
Arnasa was born from a simple question: why should the foot adapt to the shoe and not the other way around? We design based on natural movement, with a wide last, flexible sole, and zero drop. Without sacrificing what matters most to us: that the shoe has quality and its own unique character.
Our way of doing things
Before making a single shoe, we needed to know if anyone else thought like us. We launched the project on Kickstarter, and 185 people backed the idea before a single pair even existed.
That changes everything. Arnasa wasn't born from an investor or a large factory. It was born from a community that said yes. That's why we remain a small, highly controlled project, where every model, every color, and every material passes through the same hands that imagined it.

Made nearby, hand-checked
We manufacture in Portugal, in specialized workshops with decades of shoemaking tradition. Not because it's the cheapest option (it isn't), but because it allows us to be close to the process, inspect each pair, and not compromise on quality.
Less production. More attention. That's all.
All the materials used in this shoe are of European origin, selected for their durability and finish. Quality isn't just about how a product looks, but how it ages with use.
Hello! We are Jose and Miren.
If you've made it this far, it means you care about the reasons behind what you buy, and that says a lot about you.
This is the reason for Arnasa.
We've been wearing barefoot shoes for years, back when the options were few and, to be honest, not very stylish. Every time we bought new shoes, we thought the same thing: we should make our own. One day we decided to stop thinking about it.
Every decision we make is made by asking ourselves the same question: would we use it?
If you've ever sacrificed comfort for aesthetics, or aesthetics for comfort, this is for you.
